What We Offer

One-on-one time with staff is another aspect of providing the “home” feeling here at Living Springs. Our staff takes the time to get to know your loved one; learning about them and being able to share common interests, stories, and laughter.

Our home offers daily home cooked meals that are prepared in accordance to the menus we receive from our Registered Dietitian from Grove Menus.

We offer assistance in management of special diets, diabetic care, dementia and behavioral management.

Assistance with all aspects of daily living, including: dressing, hygiene, toileting routines, ambulation, eating, activities, laundry, housekeeping, shopping.

We can transport and accompany the residents to their doctors’ visits if the family is unable to do so. There is an added fee for this service, but it is a convenience for the family to assist with peace of mind.

We provide daily nurse oversight, monthly observation reports and quarterly nurse assessments to monitor each resident’s health and medical needs.

Each CNA/caregiver is certified in medication administration in accordance with the State of Idaho. Medications are received weekly from our local pharmacy and must be in either Medisets or Bubble packs. The medications are regularly checked by the Pharmacist and the Administrator to maintain accuracy that your loved one is receiving the correct medications that their Health Care Provider has prescribed.

All of our staff are CPR and 1st Aide Certified and also personally trained to know how to provide specialized one-on-one care for your loved one.  Having long term staff is a priceless aspect when it comes to knowing each resident and his or her regular behaviors on a daily basis. This way, when a change does occur, our staff knows what their “normal” is and are able to quickly detect that change.

We recognize the diverse aspects of each person including cultural and spiritual beliefs. As a family we are open and accepting to each individual’s belief system.  We currently have representatives that offer Mass to those residents that choose to join them on a weekly basis.
