Encouraging my mother to move into an assisted living environment was one of the toughest things I've ever had to do.

Naturally, I wanted to find the best possible new home for her – the right place – where she would not only receive the care she required, but where that care would be administered with the highest level of love and respect.

Living Springs is that "right place" for my mother. In a clean, loving, and nurturing environment, she receives appropriate nutritional, medical and physical care, and I have great peace of mind knowing that my mother is warm, safe and content.

I am sincerely grateful to Living Springs staff for their patience, kindness, and the excellent and loving care they provide.

Without hesitation, I recommend Living Springs to anyone who seeks a special home for their parent or loved one.

Our Services

Our home offers daily home cooked meals that are prepared in accordance to the menus we receive from our Registered Dietician from Grove Menus.

Assistance with all aspects of assistance with daily living, including: assistance with dressing, hygiene, toileting routines, ambulation, eating, activities, laundry, housekeeping, shopping.

We offer musical entertainment: from piano to accordion to harp, guitar and banjo.  We have local artists here each Thursday.  Music is an important aspect of each person’s life. We also offer the choice of joining us in the living room for a time of resident’s choice of CD’s.

Rooms at Living Springs

We provide daily nurse oversight, monthly observation reports and quarterly nurse assessments to monitor each resident’s health/ medical needs.

We can transport and accompany the residents to their Doctors’ visits if the family is unable to do so.  There is an added fee for this service, but it is a convenience for the family to assist with peace of mind.

We offer assistance in management of special diets, Diabetic care, Dementia and Behavioral Management.

Medication assistance: Each CNA / caregiver is certified in Medication Administration in accordance to the State of Idaho.  Medications are received weekly from our local pharmacy and must be in either Medisets or Bubble packs.  The medications are regularly checked by the Pharmacist and the Administrator to maintain accuracy that your loved one is receiving the correct medications that their Health Care Provider has prescribed.

All of our staff are CPR and 1st Aide Certified and also personally trained to know how to provide specialized one-on-one care for your loved one.  Having long term staff is a priceless aspect when it comes to knowing each resident and his or her regular behaviors on a daily basis.  This way when a change does occur, our staff knows what their “normal” is and are able to quickly detect that change.

We recognize the diverse aspects of each person including cultural and spiritual beliefs. As a family we are open and accepting to each individual’s belief system.  We currently have representatives that offer Mass to those residents that choose to join them on a weekly basis.

One on one time with staff is another aspect of providing the home feeling that we offer.

We offer exercise as well. When the weather is good, you will see the staff accompanying residents along the street for daily walks. We do Sit–N–Fit type exercise three times weekly because strength and flexibility are great ways to maintain stability.

Reading is a life long enjoyment for many. We have the local library come to us twice monthly. Your loved one can check out books, tapes, and videos. The staff at LIVING SPRINGS also has scheduled reading times. This varies from current events and daily history segments to trivia.

Staff will take the time to get to know your loved one, knowing and being able to share common interests, past stories, and, many times, laughter.
